Winners Announced from 2026 5th and 6th Grade Poster Contest!

We are excited to announce the winners from the 2026 SCD poster contest! The poster contest is for 5th and 6th grade students living or attending school within Stearns County. Students created a poster based on this years National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD's) theme, "Soil. Where It All Begins." The contest encourages creativity while helping students learn how soil, water, air, plants, and wildlife work together to support life.
All of the submissions we received from Stearns County's 5th and 6th grade students were creative and told a great conservation story about soil health! We want to thank all of the students, teachers, and parents that helped with submissions. A big congratulations to the winning students! Stay tuned for next years contest!
