STEARNS CD TREE SALES
The Stearns Conservation District hosts an annual spring conservation tree sale, fostering a culture of tree planting throughout Stearns County. This program encourages residents to plant trees to create habitats for birds and wildlife, establish shelter belts, and enhance soil and water conservation efforts.
TREE PROGRAM DETAILS
Trees are sold in bundles of 25. Trees are sold bare-root, either as seedlings or transplants.
Payment in full is required to finalize your order and guarantee the species selections and quantities. Orders can be placed on the website by clicking on each of the species of your choice using a credit card as a payment method. If paying with check or EXACT amount for cash those payments must be done at the office. Tax exempt orders will need to contact the office to place the order. Payment methods for tax exempt orders are check or exact amount with cash. Returned checks are subject to an additional fee.
The SCD reserves the right to cancel your order and refund the payment if trees become unavailable. Once the tree order has been placed online or through the office, no refunds will be made for any other reason. All sales are final.
You will be notified by both postcard and email (if an email address was provided with the order - highly recommended) when the trees can be picked.

**Notice** We will have signage posted on the west end of the building (in the large parking lot area) on where to enter for you to pick up your tree order.
Orders not picked by designated time will have a late fee applied. If you cannot pick up your trees on the scheduled pick up day please arrange for someone to pick up your order for you.
Trees cannot be resold.
Customer is responsible for appropriate storage & planting of all stock.
Planting stock not surviving will not be replaced by Stearns Conservation District.
Trees planted on CRP and RIM land are exempt from sales tax if a landowner completes and signs an ST3 form (Please contact the SCD office on completing tax exempt orders).
Both residents and non-residents of Stearns County may purchase trees from the SCD.
