General Description: Adapts well to sun or moderately shaded locations. It has creamy white flowers in the spring followed by white inedible berries in the summer. It tends to sucker if in open areas. It can be pruned into a small tree with the taller grown plants. Has a deep maroon color in the fall.

 

Pests: Frequently infested with leaf spot.

 

Uses: In naturalistic plantings.
