General Description: 
 
Bur Oaks maturity age range from 200-300+ years with very deep taproots. The crown space ranges from 40 to 80 feet.

Oak lacebug: red-humped oakworm; variable oak leaf caterpillar; twig pruner; two-lined chestnut borer; fall cankerworm, possible oak wilt fungus.
 
Uses:
Sawlogs, veneer; bolts (cooperage-barrels)
