The Stearns County Soil & Water Conservation District is currently accepting applications for a full-time Conservation Planner and a full-time West Central Technical Service Area Engineering Technician.
Conservation Planner
The conservation planner works with agricultural producers and private landowners to develop comprehensive plans to address resource concerns affecting soil and water quality and quantity. The conservation planner also provides direct technical assistance for nonstructural land management practices as well as grazing management, irrigation management, nutrient management, windbreaks/shelterbelts, and other practices, and coordinates with and assists the Project Implementation Team for design and construction needs. West Central Technical Service Area (WCTSA) Engineering Technician
The WCTSA Engineering Technician is a professional position responsible for applying engineering skills and knowledge to produce AutoCAD Civil 3D designs and other plans for a variety of structural conservation projects across the West Central Technical Service Area 12-county region.
