MN Buffer Law Information

The Stearns County SWCD is sending out letters to potentially non-compliant landowners in the county. The mailing include information on buffer requirements as well as options the SWCD office can assist with such as CRP and other programs that may assist with the installation of the buffers. Maps are also included that show each landowner the areas that may be lacking the required buffers. the SWCD office will work with these land owners to answer any questions and provide assistance with landowners interested in the programs that are able to offer through our office.
