Kyle Weimann

Kyle joined Stearns Conservation District in 2017 after several years as the owner-operator of Woodland Edge Gardens, a market produce farm near Milaca, and working for the Mille Lacs SWCD. Prior to those roles, he earned a Bachelor in Economics at UW-Madison and Master in Public Policy from UM-Twin Cities.

Kyle’s duties in the office include financial management, human resources, grant reporting, compliance, implementation tracking, and support for the SCD Board of Supervisors. As Operations Manager, he oversees and coordinates other Team activities including outreach, IT, water planning, accounting, and general office management.

Outside of the office, Kyle enjoys camping, traveling, gardening, and hanging out with a menagerie of chickens, ducks, and cats at the homestead.
