320-345-6482
Kelly Berg grew up on her family’s dairy farm, where she developed a passion for the outdoors and conservation. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from St. Cloud State University, she began her career with the Benton and Sherburne Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs). She worked as a Technician in the Elk River Watershed, where she provided outreach and conducted environmental assessments.
In 2019, she joined the Stearns Conservation District as a Conservation Planner. In this role, she works directly with landowners to implement a variety of best management practices such as residue and tillage management, cover crops, managed grazing, irrigation water management, and more. She finds the most rewarding part of her career is helping landowners establish a conservation legacy that will last for generations to come.
