Jake Cleys

Jake graduated from NDSU with a Bachelors degree in Natural Resources Management with a minor in Zoology and a Masters degree in Rangeland Science. He is a published scientific author with the Natural Areas Journal.

Jake has previous experience working with county governments and SWCDs. He has experiencing with cover crops, tillage management, irrigation management, grazing management, erosion control and education/outreach events. He is a contact for the MN Buffer Law for the SCD office. Jake is also a FAA licensed drone pilot for the office, a certified MN wetland delineator in-training and U of MN Stormwater Operation & Maintenance certified.

His interests outside the office include hunting/fishing, reading/writing, and volunteering in the community.
