Join the Stearns Conservation District and Waste Management Inc for a community-wide event, The Sauk River Trash Bash on Saturday, October 3rd!

 

This event is a community-wide effort where we will be working together to pick-up trash along the shores of the Sauk River in and around Cold Spring. Help us keep the Sauk River clean and healthy! 

 

Registration for the event will be from 9:30am-10:00am. We will meet at Frogtown Park in Cold Spring (27 Red River Ave S, Cold Spring, MN 56320). Come early so you can get a free t-shirt or register ahead of time to ensure your free t-shirt! You can register HERE.

The clean up will be from 10am-12pm (or earlier depending on if we are done!) We will split volunteers off into different groups and work in and around Cold Spring. 

​

We will then meet back at Frogtown Park (27 Red River Ave S, Cold Spring, MN 56320) after the clean up for a short celebration featuring light snacks, refreshments, and educational resources! You will also receive your beer ticket from Third Street Brewhouse. The beer ticket is good for ONE free beer and will only be given to those age 21 and up! Keep the fun going and head to Third Street Brewhouse in Cold Spring afterwards to redeem your ticket and participate in other fun activities. Thank you to Third Street Brewhouse for partnering on this event and for promoting local conservation!

Families and kids are welcome at the clean-up event! Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. This event will go on rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather! Gloves, garbage bags, and grabbers will be provided.
