Sauk Centre Private Well Water Screening Event

The Stearns Conservation District in partnership with the Minnesota Groundwater Association (MNGWA) and the Minnesota Well Owners Organization (MNWOO) offered a Private Well Water Screening Clinic in August of 2025. The event was held at the Stearns County Fairgrounds in Sauk Centre. At the event, water was screened onsite for nitrates and chlorides. Attendees could stick around to get their screening results the day of the event, or they could chose to be emailed their results. Attendees could also consult with onsite groundwater professionals at the event to learn more about what they can do to keep their water clean. Discounted arsenic tests were also available through Traut Companies.
