This immediate watershed that feeds into Horseshoe Lake had been dealing with erosion problems and water runoff control issues. The landowner and Munson Township worked together with the Stearns CD to implement a series of conservation practices. This included three Water and Sediment Control Basins, a Grass Waterway and associated erosion control methods on the direct outlets.
