Central Minnesota Farm Show 2026

The Stearns Conservation District and Benton SWCD partnered together to have a booth at the 2026 Central Minnesota Farm Show. The Farm Show was held February 24th-25th in St. Cloud. Staff were there to assist attendees and talk with people who were interested in conservation and farming practices. The booth consisted of a variety of activities to interest attendees.

The Cover Crop Activity was the main attraction of the day. We had cover crop seeds available for people to take a small sample to try on their own. Species that were available included Forage Collards, Sunn Hemp, Turnip, Teff Grass, Red Clover, Rye, Winter Camelina, Radish, and Berseem Clover. We also had examples of some species that were grown so attendees could get a feel for what they look like. Thank you to Millborn for donating the seed for this activity!
